About the Journal

The Sikh Research Journal (SRJ), ISSN 2771-3520, is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to Sikh and Punjabi Studies. It covers a wide array of topics including art, architecture, culture, diaspora, heritage preservation, history, language, literature, and religion.

Launched and supported by the Sikh Foundation, the SRJ prides itself on its editorial independence, guided by an Editorial Board of distinguished scholars. This ensures the journal's commitment to academic integrity and independence from foundation influence, welcoming contributions, especially from emerging scholars.

Website Under Construction: Exciting Changes Ahead!

The SRJ has a new look as we move to the Open Journal System (OJS) and add DOIs to our published papers, making it easier to find on Google Scholar and streamlining the submission and review process. Bear with us as we move our archives over – it'll take some time, but it's all part of making SRJ better and more accessible for you. We are super excited for you to see the improvements!
